Easy crockpot lamb chops with an orange and thyme sauce.
INGREDIENTS:
8 lamb rib chops
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
PREPARATION:
Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium heat, brown lamb chops on both
sides; drain well. Whisk together the orange juice, honey, salt, cornstarch,
thyme, and grated orange peel. Place browned lamb chops in crockpot; pour
in orange mixture, turning chops to coat well.
Cover and cook on LOW 7 to 9 hours (HIGH 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours). Serves
4 to 8.
