3 carrots, cut 2-inch pieces
1 corned beef brisket, about 4 to 5 pounds
3 medium onions, cut in wedges
1 cup water
1/2 small head of cabbage, cut in wedges
PREPARATION:
Put all ingredients in order listed except cabbage in slow cooker. If
necessary, cut corned beef brisket in half to fit in crockpot. Cover and
cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours. Add cabbage wedges to liquid pushing down to
moisten turn to HIGH and cook 2 to 3 hours longer.
If your crockpot is too small, cook cabbage separately in boiling salted
water and serve with the corned beef and carrots
