Here is a nice recipe for pure vegetarians. For non-vegans, don't be
fooled, these cookies too are absolutely delicious!
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of non-bleached or whole wheat flour
- 2 cups of vegan chocolate chips
- 2 tsp. of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of raw (vegan) sugar
- 1/2 cup of vegetable or canola oil
- a few pinches of cinnamon (optional - to your taste)
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl mix the unbleached or whole wheat flour, salt, baking
soda and the optional cinnamon. Stir in the chocolate chips. See our tips
page for some ideas to facilitate the preparation.
In another bowl, mix the oil and sugar. While stirring, incorporate the
vanilla and water. Mix everything very well. Incorporate this wet mixture
to the dry one. Again, mix everything very nicely.
Make nice multiple one inch dough that will be placed two inches apart
on the ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake in oven for 10 -12 minutes or until the cookies are goldened.
