Baking mix makes these cookies extra easy. INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
1 tablespoon shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 c. white sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups Bisquick® baking mix
1/4 cup quick rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
PREPARATION:
Heat oven to 375°. Cream butter and shortening with sugars; add eggs
and vanilla. Beat until well combined. Stir in Bisquick, oats, nuts and
ces. Drop by teaspoonful onto a greased and floured baking sheet or non
stick sheet of Silpat.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes until light brown. Cool on a rack for 3 minutes;
remove to rack or plate to cool completely. Makes about 36 cookies. These
are easy and delicious!
