1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie)
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugars.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Combine flour, oats, baking soda,cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Stir into creamed mixture alternately with pumpkin.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Drop by Tbsp onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-13 minutes or until lightly browned.
