2 to 3 lb stew meat
8 medium potatoes, cubed
6 carrots, cubed
1 onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 can tomato paste
Salt and pepper
Garlic salt
Cut meat into small chunks. Flour and brown meat, adding salt and pepper.
Add a dash of garlic salt. Make 1 quart of sauce with tomato paste and
water. Put ½ quart of sauce in casserole. Spread all ingredients
evenly in pan. Put balance of sauce on top. Bake at 375 degree for 2-1/2
hours or until done. Serves 12.
