1 C sugar
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
dash salt
1/2 C shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
1/2 C chopped nuts
2 RIPE bananas, mashed with a fork
(you want the banana's starting to turn brown and soft - the softer and
browner the skin, the sweeter and more moist the bread will turn out)
Mix all ingredients well and pour into ungreased loaf pan.
