CHICKEN BREASTS WITH SOUR CREAM.

12 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 c. sour cream
½ c. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. + 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. + 2 tsp. celery salt
1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp. paprika
8 cloves garlic, finely chopped or pressed
salt and pepper to taste
1 box Club Crackers, crushed
½ c. butter
½ c. shortening
In large bowl combine first 7 ingredients. Add chicken breasts, coating
well. Cover and refrigerate overnight, turning breasts occasionally to
completely coat with marinade.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove chicken from marinade and roll each
piece in Club Cracker crumbs, coating evenly. Arrange chicken in single
layer on cookie sheet(s). Melt butter and shortening together. Spoon half
over chicken. Bake uncovered 45 minutes. Spoon rest of butter mixture
over chicken. Bake 15 minutes longer. Serves 12 (can cut recipe in half
to serve 6, if desired).
